I simply want to mention that the MMC plugin (compmgmt.msc) while it *may* have areas which work (or at least seem to work), I need to noted that it is officially unsupported (at least currently) to manage an Isilon SMB environment. For instance, deleting shares via the MMC plugin has been identified as causing the issue in the following post:
https://community.emc.com/message/747637#747637
Furthermore, with v7.x it is access zone-unaware (well... it may seem to work with the default SYSTEM zone but not any user-defined access zones).
So what we promote instead for the features that you are used to such as:
1) Open Files
# isi smb openfiles list
# isi smb openfiles close --id=1235
Are you sure you want to close open file with id 1235? (yes/no): yes
2) Open Sessions
# isi smb sessions
Description:
List and disconnect SMB sessions.
Required Privileges:
ISI_PRIV_SMB
Usage:
isi smb sessions
[--timeout ]
[{--help | -h}]
Actions:
delete Disconnect an SMB session.
delete-user Disconnect an SMB sessions by user.
list View a list of SMB sessions.
