InsightIQ monitoring error

We are getting following monitoring error very frequently.

"

InsightIQ is unable to monitor corpist02 due to the following error:

Monitoring halted: OperationalError

FATAL:  pipe() failed: Too many open files in system

I temporarily fixed th issue by restarting the InsightIQ server iiq_restart.   Is there any permananet solution to avoid these kind of errors ?  Any one come accross these errors.
