Isilon X200 Recognized Disk Size Discrepency

I have a rejuvenated Isilon X200 3-Node cluster.  Each node has 12 - 3TB drives (previously they were 500G drives).  I have re-imaged the cluster with OneFS 7.2.1.x.     Reported size for each node is 5.4TB when it should be 36TB.  For some reason it is only seeing a 12 drive 500G filled tray, which is what the node used to have installed.     Drives are Isilon approved 3TB drives.   During the image load, I did see that the node reported a "device unexpected size" however I don't know how to tell each node there are 3TB drives installed.  Thoughts to get cluster to see all 36-3TB drives??

Hi,

Thanks for your question about drive sizes. The device is aware of the configuration it shipped with. https://dell.to/3AH105d Phone support may be able to change this to work with the larger drives.

Any special reason to install an unsupported OneFS version?  I recommend installing a new oneFS version, applying the most recent DSP and node firmware

No special reason. OneFS 7.2.1.x is the last image I have, which come to find out, it's generic and doesn't recognize the 3TB drives.  In contact with support to get latest/last version available configured for the Original configuration.    Since I can't recover root password, re-image is the last resort.  Cheers

@wpetering1 , you can't just plug and play 500GB ->3T drives on Isilon. You need Dell to config it.
