Isilon X400 Node Down

One of our 3 X400 nodes went down last night. There are no disk lights showing, the front panel wont show, the green lights on the power supplies are flashing, the power supply fans are blowing, the 2 Ethernet ports are flashing and the infiniband port lights are off. We have connected a console cable and neither us or Isilon support can connect.

An engineer has been dispatched to our site.

I was wondering if anybody else has suffered such an outage and what was the outcome

Green flashing lights on the power supplies typically means the electrical outlet is providing sufficient AC to the power supplies, but the node is turned off.

I know it's a month later and you probably have this figured out by now, but what was the issue?

It seems to be motherboard issue so chassis swap will be required. Its just an assumption we need engineer onsite to troubleshoot further it may be due to bad bot drive also.

Hi Speary,

Have you find the root cause for this issue? Looking forward to hear your result.
