LDAP data caching ala 'nscd'?
Is there a way to enable an Isilon cluster to perform short-lived caching of LDAP data like the UNIX/Linux 'nscd' daemon does?

Actually the nscd executable is present, but it seems that it cannot be
put into effect in the FreeBDS way...
Probably id caching cannot be made consistent across the OneFS cluster,
so it would better be avoided -- any new information is welcome.
