Suppress "External Network Problem" error message

Hello,

We have upgraded to OneFS 8.1.0.4 and added some Gen6 nodes. Gen6 nodes are not connected to external network so the WebUI keeps complaining about "External Network Problem" regardless how many times I mark them as resolved.  How can i suppress these alerts since i am not going to connect the Gen6 nodes anytime soon?

Thank you

Hello Dynamox!

Are any network interfaces of the Gen6's added to the productive network pools?

If so you should remove them from the list of interfaces assigned to the respective pool/pools. This should get rid of the alerts.

Be sure to keep in mind the caveats for NANON/NAONAN configurations as discussed here:

You always want one of the interfaces connected to the outside.  That's how you're going to get NTP, DNS, and authentication services.

Instead of marking the event resolved, you want to IGNORE it.  Resolved is for when the alert is active but the issue has been fixed (common after a drive has been swapped).  Ignore says "don't bug me".
