Upgrade 8.2.2.0 to 9.1.0.0
Hello all
I am wondering if someone can advise... I have been asked to look at upgrading our Isilon from 8.2.2.0 to 9.1.0.0.
The documents show that it is best to log an SR
Question to the group,
- Anyone done the upgrade? anything extra that isn't in the document?
- We also use EyeGlass, has anyone had issues with this after upgrading to 9.1.0.0?

Hello NotStopIsilonProblems,
The reason we ask you to open an SR is that we will pull a set of logs from your Isilon system prior to your upgrade and review them to make sure that you will not have any issue when doing the upgrade. We also will pull a set of logs after the upgrade to ensure that everything was upgraded correctly.
If you don’t want to create an SR, then I would make sure to gather a set of logs prior to doing the upgrade.

did upgrade
mostly no problems, except
some initial ndmp issues - workaround provided
more sensitive to backend traffic, alerting intermittently on switch bandwidth, but this is being looked at.
overall seems ok

so working with Dell Tech via the SR went okay.
at one point we had 4 calls open, one for each unit and another for each set of switches.
The upgrade as painless really, and we didn't have any EyeGlass issues either
