eDiscover and Isilon/OneFS
I've been thinking about the issue of eDiscovery and Isilon, specifically, whether Windows-based eDiscovery of data contained in files stored in an Isilon cluster would be more or less efficient that treating the cluster as (an) HDFS volume(s) and using big data analytic tools to search the files.
I'd be interested in the opinions of others as to which would be the way to go.
Essentially, in an eDiscovery setting, files would be treated as records (the contents either match the search criteria or they don't).
Thoughts?
