1558 Dell Studio Laptop
I cannot remember my password to get onto the computer or make changes. I haven't really used it much and totally forgot. I do have the cd that the computer came (reinstall disc). I do not have anything important on this laptop at all and am willing to totally start from scratch. Anybody know what steps I need to take to do this? Or just a way to reset my password?

I think their may well be an option in the BIOS to reset the OP System password...but I'm not to sure!

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
There are programs that you can purchase to recover your password on the internet. Otherwise, you will need to boot to your windows disk and reinstall Windows. You can also download the drivers for your system from the link below as well as view the order the drivers need to be installed on your computer.
