15R 5537 touch Screen issues.

Hi All,

I have Inspiron 15R 5537 touch screen model laptop. Issue is when external device is connected via USB port, touch feature is disabled. In order for touch feature to work on the screen irrespective whether external device is connected or not, i have to restart the notebook.

Are there any settings or should i live with this issues throughout my life. I mean why on earth does touch feature gets disabled, so annoying..!!

Let me know the solution, ASAP..!!

Since it was a brand new and less than 30 days old, Dell replaced with brand new system with same config. If you are out of warranty, try installing the latest graphics driver from the vendor's website like nVidea or ATI Radeon NOT from Dell's website, that should solve touch screen issue. As for USB is concerned, the only option left is to replace the motherboard as per Dell's expert.
