5150 video card

Hello all, I'm looking for help on video card issue. my 5150 laptop has a m1325 video card that i figure is bad, so i bought a m5322 on ebay to replace it but i got instead a p6959. my question is should the p6959 work? it plugs in of course but all i get is a black screen, at least the old card lights up the screen, but that all. any help/education would be great.thanks
