5510 Thunderbolt Works With Linux Mint17, Win10 but not with Win7
Hello
I have all the latest Dell software and firmware updates, according to Dell Command Update. I also have all the Win7 updates.
5510 Thunderbolt Works With Linux Mint17, Win10 but not with Win7
I need it to work with Win7.
Does anyone have the Thunderbolt on 5510 working with Win7 ?

Did you install the chipset driver?
www.dell.com/.../DriversDetails
That should get Thunderbolt working.
Note: The current Skylake platform is the last one that will have Windows 7 support, so you may want to (or have your organization) reconsider running Windows 7. Once Kaby Lake arrives, Windows 10 is the only version of Windows that will run -- this, just for future reference.

That chipset does not appear to support my laptop; 5510.
In any case running Dell Command Update has already downloaded and installed ALL drivers and firmware for this system.
