AC power adapter for latitude d610

hi all, I have a problem with my AC power adapter. When i turn on my laptop, i got the message: "The AC power adapter type cannot be determined..." I guess my power cord (form the AC power adapter to the laptop) is broken, so I think I have to buy a new AC power adapter (too bad, the problem is only on the cord, but we need to buy the whole adapter as I dont know how to open the AC adapter to fix the cord, any helps will be appreciated!). My qyestion is: I found 2 type of AC adapter from dell.ca. 1. Argentina version, 90W http://accessories.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=ca&l=en&s=dhs&cs=cadhs1&sku=310-7935 2. Normal version, 90W http://accessories.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=ca&l=en&s=dhs&cs=cadhs1&sku=310-2862 What is the difference between the two? Because the prices are so different, so I need to be sure before buy one. Anyone here has already tried the first one? Is it good? Thks! Kha

idkha1979,

I do not have an explanation.  The one marked as Argentina may have the power cord for Argentina, which may not work in Canada.  I am assuming that you are in Canada since both of these are from the Dell Canada page.  I cannot guarantee that the Argentina model is going to work in Canada.

thks for your information, but if the difference is only the power plug so I think I can change from my old adapter. Or may be I have to look on ebay, as the new one like mine is $80, so expensive just for the bad cord on my old adapter :-(
