Alienware M11xR2 performance issues...

OK, does the following benchmark scores look normal to you guys?

3DMark 06: 6,700
1,550 CPU score

PCMark Vantage: 4,3XX

wPrime 32M: 39-40s

Cinebench R10 64-Bit+Optimus: 1-CPU-2,7XX
                                                             Multi-CPU-4,700-4,800

Win7 WEI: CPU-5.3(Before was 5.5)
RAM-5.3(Before was 5.5)
Graphics-3.5
Gaming graphics-6.4
HDD-5.9

I reckon something is up with my CPU and RAM... For the records, none of my components are OC'd. Tests done on mixed settings of balanced batt.+High performance, with the adapter plugged into the mains.

Thanks in advance!

Bear in mind that that CPU in this system isn't a normal i7 - it is a ultra low-voltage unit that's designed for power minimization, not high performance.  Similarly, the RAM is limited to 667 MHz by the ultra-low voltage processor's design.  So - don't compare a standard i7 with 1333 MHz RAM.

The M11x is a hybrid of a notebook and a netbook - it's not a flat-out performance system by any stretch of the imagination.

Given that reviews are like estimated gas mileage - and posts on other forums usually wind up as bragging contests - if you're within 20% of what the reviews say, everything is fine.

Thanks for the prompt reply, however, I was comparing mine with others on forums and based on reviews...
