Alienware M17x R3 Office 2016

Just received our new M17 and attempted to activate Microsoft Office 2016.  Hours and several attempts later, it still would not activate with the Dell-supplied key.  Contacted Alienware support.  I was told this is a known issue and a new key must be created.  This may take 24 hours.  Essentially, Alienware is selling systems that have known issues.  Once they receive payment, then you find out there is an issue.  There is no resolution, according to Alienware, Hoping to receive a new key and hope it works.  The first support tech was very helpful and honest.  A lesson for all the Dell management staff - don't accept payment for a defective product. Hoping to receive a new key and hope it works.  Any similar experiences?
