Anybody used asset.com utility on new DELL laptop?
I trying to setup custom owner information using old asset utility from DELL. I used to do it on my old dell C640 w/o any problems
On my new dell M4300 it doesn’t want to save info – I am booting up using DOS 6.22 ( was able to find disk image on internet J ) and running asset from DOS – it didn’t work form command prompt screen under windows XP either
Anybody had any luck changing owner or asset tag info on new dells? Any other utility can do it?

On my new machine, the option to set the asset tag is in the BIOS setup program - you might want to try looking in there.
