Applications CD don;t work

I recently fried the hard drive to my laptop so I ordered a new one from Dell. Along with the new drive I got an Applications CD, so after I installed and loaded up the new drive I put in the Applications Cd to get everything installed... but the problem is that the Cd doesn't recognize my laptop as a Dell computer and refuses to install anything (Which I'm pretty sure that it is... what with the hundreds of Dell logos that cover it). So at this point I am at a loss of what to do.
