BAM ... working fine and all of a sudden the laptop shuts down. AC Adapter light turns off when plugged into laptop.

I have a very good working M1330 laptop.

The laptop will now power on using either the AC adapter or battery. The battery is fully charged.

I've noticed that the AC adapter glows blue, but as soon as it is plugged into the laptop the blue light goes off.

I've tried the static dispersal routine with no success.

Is this a motherboard or is there a power unit that can be easily replaced?????
