BIOS Updation Error
Hi Team
On updating the BIOS of inspiron 3542 from A02 To A08 getting Error :
IHISI:Get support mode error SMI!
SMI Return Code 0x45
Kindly help in this.

This error commonly arises when an attempt is made to flash the incorrect BIOS. The latest BIOS listed for your system is A06 -- A08 must be for a different model.

Thank you Dear,
Your solution helped me out. I have the problem with Touchpad Erratic Pointer Movement in my system.
Got Windows 8.1 with system, but still getting problem. updated bios now.
