BIOS update crashed, how can I recover?

While running the BIOS updating program from the Dell support site on my Inspiron mini duo 1090, it crashed and corrupted my BIOS. Now when I try to power on, it beeps once every two seconds or so and won't boot up. I've tried removing the batteries to reset the BIOS but it does nothing. The only other thing I've seen out there is to replace the motherboard, but I'd rather about that. It's there anything else I can try? I am way of it warranty so this is a diy job.
