Battery does not charge when plugged in

Hi Robin,

Before the battery was totally dead (when I try to power up, power light comes on for 1 second and shuts down again), I checked the battery health and it stated it was fine.  I'm unable to run any diagnostics now with the battery fully dead.

Yes, the blue ring on the AC adapter is on when plugged into an outlet, and also when it is plugged into the laptop.
