Battery not detected
Hi
I'm using Dell Inspiron 14 (3421) for the past 9 months,. Suddenly the system got shut down and it was not starting until the power adapter was plugged in . but now the battery icon shows battery not detected.
I tried to update the BIOS and flash it but I was not able to do it bcoz it says the adapter and the battery need to be connected.
Pls help

yes both the battery and the charger adapter are enabled in the settings.

Have you gone into the BIOS settings and made sure the battery and charger adapter are enabled? If the battery is dead or below 10%....it may not be recognized.
