Battery problem
I cannot turn on my laptop Inspiron 3542 on battery. It works well on Ac supply.. It alternatively shows linking red and white indicator. It was working well till yesterday.. but today i dont know what happenned. Please help .And on boot, it shows that battery not identified error. Reply me soon.

Due to the age of your laptop I would replace the battery.

I would say that is probably has a bad cell. Time for a new battery. Do you have another battery for that laptop to try?
