Blue dot on screen
i purshased a new dell inspiron 15r 5521 and after installing win 8 i notice blue dot in the left side of the monitor and appeared clearly on black background and pale on red or green or purple background, but disappear on white and light blue background.
what is that blue dot?
is that a defect?
it will become bigger or other dots will appear?
can i replace it from dell?
plz help me

Hi mic_egy,
I am sorry for the inconvenience. Please check if the blue dot appears in the BIOS screen. Tap F2 at startup to open the BIOS screen. Also provide the snap shot of the screen to check and assist you further.

Hi,
on BIOS screen the dot not appear but on any black background even the the black background which appear while turning on the device the dot appear very clear, also on any dark background like red , green, purple, als when I run BIST test the dot appear on red , green, black and very pale on blue. if u zoom inserted pic. u will notice the blue dot on the black area.
