Bluetooth headset paired but in the sound playback devices it shows disconnected always

I have Dell inspiron 5520 lap. I paired my new bluetooth headset with the laptop successfully but in the sound options - play back devices its disconnected status. when i tried to connect by right click on it there , observed no action happened. Is there a way to resolve this issue. Is there any problem with the Bluetooth radio (manufacturer -Cambridge Silicon Radio Ltd.) or Bluetooth Enumerator on my computer. checked for those driver software updates, they are already up to date. Please assist.
