CD/DVD Player Quit After Installing Windows 7
My Inspiron 1720 's CD/DVD Player made by TSST shows the driver is working but the system doesn't recognize that I even have this hardware except for the Device Manager. Has anyone else had this problem and solved it?

Not sure why you think this drive has problems.

When I put in a CD or DVD it doesn't playbut temporarily the green light comes on and then quits and when I open the computer explorer window it doesn't show that I have that drive which used be (E:).

I went back to the Device Manager and now the message is Code 39 that the driver id missing or corrupted. What driver do I need to download or where do I find that info? Thanks
