Can I switch C640 SXGA Display in place of XGA and have it work?
I have a C640 with XGA display. Can I simply plug in an C 640 SXGA display and have it work or does the motherboard or what ever have to be changed?

It may or may not work - for the best chance of success, transplant the entire upper half of the system (screen, data cable, inverter and plastic shell). On many of the C-series Dells, the screen shell (plastics) are specific for the resolution of screen -- they aren't interchangeable between screen resolutions.
