Can not select monitor type on my Dell D600 with Radeon Mobility 9000 display grafics
Dear forum members,
I want to use an external CRT monitor on my Dell D600. Despite of selecting the correct monitor type in display settings everything works fine.
BUT: since the correct monitor type can not be selected I can NOT select the correct color profile to the external monitor and this is a must if you want to do grafics design. The latest display drivers are installed from the Dell site (Version v8.123-050405a-022874C, A09) and this corresponds to the ATI display driver version 6.14.10.0278.
Please can you help, e.g. where can I can get newer ATI display drivers (found no drivers on the ATI site) or how to change configuration that the correct monitor type is shown in the display settings (currently I find the following four: standard monitor, standard TV, plug&play monitor, Iiyama Visionmaster Pro 502). The problem is that always the standard TV is shown in the monitor type section (of the display settings)!
