Can't install video drivers on 15r 7520 SE

I tried to install the most recent driver for the Intel HD graphics 4000 video adapters on this laptop but whenever I try I get the error message 'Your laptop does not meet the minimum requirements for this' The driver was downloaded from the dell website and was reccomended for this alptop

I am currently using a Dell Inspiron 15r 7520SE

Intel i5 2.4GHz

8GB RAM

windows 8 64Bit

Hi ujussab,

Uninstall the Intel drivers from the computer before reinstalling it:

Uninstall:

Click "Start" then right click on "Computer" button and then click on properties.
Click on the "Device Manager" selection on the left.
Select "Display adapters". The Intel Graphics Driver should be listed.
Right click Ïntel HD 4000”and and click “Uninstall”.
