Changing Dedicated Video RAM
Hello,
I have a Dell laptop with an intel i5 processor, intel 4000 HD Graphics, and 8 gb of RAM.
I have gone into BIOS to change the dedicated video RAM as it is currently 32 mb which is minuscule for a 8gb system but i cannot find any option to change it. Im running windows 8.
On start up Setup options is F2 and Boot options is F12

The 32G you see is not the video RAM - it is a fixed frame buffer. The system allocates video RAM as needed - there is no way to manually change the allocation.
