Charger for an Inspiron E1505
Ok i recently lost my charger, my dell charger. However i did have a universal charger that said it worked for my computer. At first it did and then stop. So i am now ordering a new charger. What i need to know to know is what wattage should the charger be? I did order one but it appears as though dell as 3 different wattage. So will if effect my computer if i get the wrong one and there any way of know which one is the right one?

Welcome to the forums :emotion-21:
I'd normally recommend Parts People - but (unusually) the E1505 isn't listed among any of their range of Inspiron spares/replacement parts?
I subsequently Googled (aherm!) 'Dell Inspiron E1505 AC Adapter?', and from the hits returned, it would appear the AC Adapter you require is 65w or 90w, 19v, and 3.34A or 4.62A?
See here (65w/$16.99) and here (90w/$21.99) for examples.
But you'd be best to do your own Googling of course :emotion-5:

buying another dell wouldn't have lasted you much longer anyway. here read this: http://en.community.dell.com/forums/t/19307212.aspx
this is the cheapest compatible one i found and i'll be buying it within the hour. it should work for you too: http://cgi.ebay.com/90W-AC-Adapter-Power-Supply-Charger-for-Dell-PA-10-PA10_W0QQitemZ310185522005QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLaptop_Adapters_Chargers?hash=item48387f7355
