Complicated Problem with respect to my battery.

Hello. I'm Ashish Tadigiri, from India.

I'm using DELL Inspiron 1545. I bought it before 2 years.

Actually, i was experiencing problems with my cursor for the past two days. i decided to check for its solution and found out that it was happening only when i work on my laptop, keeping my charger plugged into the notebook.

And then, i realized that this process is only happening when the laptop is switched on and is charging.

but doesn't happen when its switched off and charging.

SO, is there anything i can do about it? Any kind of help would be appreciated.

Hi..

It doesn't seem like a battery problem but instead, a voltage problem. If the voltage is too high it can cause problems like that. You may be getting power surges which can damage or fry your motherboard-- be sure you are plugged into a surge protector if possible and if not, then at least a power strip that will disconnect if a surge occurs.

If that's not a solution, check your power adapter and cord for damage-- but it sounds very much like power surges.
