Computer Upgrade

So. I own a Dell Inspiron 1525. I want to get an intel core i7 and replace the old processor in my Laptop. I also want to get a Nvidia graphics card to have in it. I really love the shape of the Inspiron 1525 so I only want to get rid of it as a lat resort. I also want to now that if it wouldn't work out, what computer I should get. I want it for gaming. My laptop just can't handle games these days.:emotion-2:
