Cooler master & XPS17L702X
Hi all, has anyone used their XPS L702x with 9cell battery (the one that acts as a stand) with this Cooler Master SGA-4000-KKNF1 (http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834992522)

Hi Tim_DE,
Welcome to the Community.
Currently we have tested Targus HD3 Gaming Chill Mat with up to 18 inches of Dell Laptops. This one works fine even with 9 cell batteries attached to machines. If I am correct your concern is that when you attach a 9 cell battery to your Laptop it gets an extra stand like projection. Zohaib_Raza - thank you for your response. i am indeed looking at this cooling solution.
With this cooling pad, would you recommend removing the 9-cell battery so that the laptop lay flat on the cooling pad?
I ask because i am using the predecessor of this cooling pad, the Targus Chillmat, and have noticed that the CPU core temperatures don't change with the 9-cell battery.
My main concern is that for the price, and mediocre reviews about the quality of its fans, that it keep the temperatures down to avoid more lock-ups.
