D3100 docking station and Teamviewer

When I access any network and the internet through my D3100 docking station connected to any of my Dell laptops, Teamviewer will not connect to any other computers, but give me a negotiation protocol failure.  When I access a network and internet from the Dell machines using WIFI, Teamviewer works fine.

Interestingly, when I connect the D3100 to my Sony laptop and use it to access a network and the internet, Teamviewer also works fine.

Removing and reinstalling the latest DisplayLink software has no effect.

Any suggestions for device settings that might correct this issue?
