DELL M4600 & Signed Firmware Updates

Hello,

I'm having a problem updating my BIOS from A08 to A16. I found out the problem is with the Signed Firmware updates being enabled in the bios.

Is this any work around for this?

Ive tried to use CCTK along with the Command Line to try to disable but nothing is work.

I have looked at post back from 2005 about this and them saying Dell needs to replace the board. Is there still not fix for this?

I am having the same problem.  Others have stated that clearing the CMOS does not help.  Also, it does not appear that flashing any version past A08 works -- the problem is not just A16.

I wonder if it would be possible to flash back to a previous bios revision then go straight to A16?  Any idea where the older versions might be found?

I have the same issue. All my M4600s that have secure bios turned on wont flash past 8. This has been an issue for a long time I'm surprised there is no fix yet.

I have the same problem.

A08 Bios could not be updated due to the Signed Firmware Update enabled issue.

I hope that Dell will do a REAL fix to this, and stop ignoring us.
