Dell 7567: 4K screen upgrade
Hello everyone. I've just upgrade the display of Dell 7567: from the stock TN FullHD panel to new IPS FullHD. The result is very awesome.
1. Side view:
2. Upward view
3. Downward view
Now I'm thinking of upgrading again to 4K (or touch version) but there is a problem: my laptop is using 30-pin connector while 4K/touch version uses 40 pins. I see there is 40-to-30-pin connector on Ebay but not sure may it can be useful.
Here is the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-14-1-034-LED-Backlight-40pin-to-CCFL-30pin-LED-to-LCD-converter-cable-adapter-/221335173883
So is there any way I can do to make 40-pin LCD panel to work with my 30-pin slot on my mainboard?

It doesn't appear this model has that option - meaning it's highly unlikely to work. The part description calls it a backlight adapter - CCFL to LED -- which isn't going to serve the purpose you want it to.
