Dell INspiron 15R N5010 & Windows 10

Has anyone upgraded that machine to WIN 10 from 7? Did you experience any problems? Upgrade or stick to Win 7?

My Ladyfriend's Laptop is an Inspiron N5010 (Win 7) but I told her not to do it (the upgrade) if she's satisfied with Win 7.

So you haven't. Is there anyone who has upgraded on N5010?

Why don't you try Ten Forums (wwwdottenforumsdotcom)? Have you ever used Seven Forums (or Eight Forums)? Same people. Try searching for Inspiron N5010.

I did an upgrade and I had problems with it. After signing in, the screen would flash on and off. I couldn't click on any key to make it work. I had to borrow another laptop to see if this dell laptop was compatible with 10, and it is not. Then this morning it stopped flashing long enough for me to uninstall 10 back to 7.

I have Dell N5010. Upgraded to Windows 10 pro build 10240 .

1. GUI is new and faster than other version of windows.

2. no problem with software or drivers compatibility (except Bluetooth- not working).

3. only problem I am facing is the shutting down and restart process is slow.

(And start is fast, no problem with start process.) I hope Microsoft will solve it soon.

Those who use smartphones or windows 8.1 /8/7, they will definitely love to have the windows 10.
