Dell Inspirion 3542 i3 BIOS Clear password

Hi to all,

can anyone help to to remove BIOS password of Dell inspirion 3542. because i remove battery but it still asking for "Enter system password" whenever i turn on.

i tried to remove battery but failed to remove / clear CMOS.

it uses Nuvoton NPCE IO chip

can anyone tell me how to fix this issue??

Good day to you.

i would like to ask you for little faviour about my dell laptop which having service tag is 85LC912.

unfortunately i give forget my laptop BIOS password.

due to not in use from long time i forget my password and now after 6 months i use but it asking for password whenever i turn on it.

"Enter system password"

i cant even boot, so i remove BIOS battery but still same.

here is screen of my problem hope can understand my problem

please send me proper way to reset /remove BIOS password so i can use and enjoy with Dell.

please help me to fix it as soon as you can. i shall be very thankful to you

You need to place a voice phone call to Dell support with:

1. Verification of ownership of your system and,

2.  If the system is out of warranty, a credit card -- the call isn't free unless the system is under warranty.

If you can't verify ownership of your system, that leaves,

3.  Replace the mainboard.
