Dell Inspiron 15 3531 Power Issues?
Hello, thank you for using your time to view this thread.
Anyway, I have a Dell Inspiron 15 3531 Laptop. The problem listed below.
When the A/C Adapter ONLY IS ATTACHED (BATTERY REMOVED):
When I press the power button, the battery light blinks once, screen stays black. I can hear the hard drive turn on and spin at normal speed. Then one minute later the laptop will shut down.
Now, it does different with the BATTERY ONLY ATTACHED:
If the battery is in the laptop, I press the power button, and nothing happens. The battery light stays white. I don't hear the hard drive spinning.
Whats going on here? The laptop is out of Warranty. Re-seating RAM does not work, nor does holding the power button down for 15 seconds.
