Dell Inspiron 15 7000 gaming (Intel) - 7567
Does anyone know what the symbol means on the S key, it looks like a FAN or propeller?
And how does it function, does it need to be combined with FN key or other key combination?

RePaRaQu,
Some keys on your keyboard have two symbols on them. These keys can be used to type alternate characters or to perform secondary functions. To type the alternate character, press Shift and the desired key. To perform secondary functions, press Fn and the desired
NOTE: You can define the primary behavior of the function keys (F1-F12) by changing Function Key Behavior in BIOS setup program.

Please read the question before giving the answer, because it's not near anything of what I asked.

RePaRaQu,
Post an image of the keyboard letter. We can then tell you what the symbol is.

It may just be a way to find that key without having to look, like the J and F keys on a normal keyboard.

looks like an alternative home key for WASD keys. With this being a from a quasi Gaming heritage that would make sense, but ultimately completely redundant for the vast majority of people. F is the true home key and it doesn't take a genius to work out where S is from there..
