Dell Inspiron 1525 graphics

Hello all, Dell will release the new Dell Inspiron 1525 in December. It replaces the Inspiron 1520. I would like to buy a new notebook in the next few weeks. But I'm not sure, if I should wait for the 1525 or buy a 1520 now. One of the most important things for me is the graphics card. It's a great pity, that Inspiron 1520 only has DDR2-8600M GT. So I would like to know, if the new 1525 has another (stronger) GPU-specification, e.g. DDR3-RAM. Is someone here in this forum, who knows the graphics-specification of the new 1525? Thank you very much!

No one seems to have much detail about the graphics offerings. However, since the 8700 is the province of the high-end XPS M1730, which is not that old, and given Dell's limitation on graphics cards in lower end systems (than the M1730 class), coupled with nVidia's not having released anything new of late, I wouldn't expect much of an upgrade video-wise, unless Dell shifts back to ATI once again.

I would also remember than when the 1520 arrived, it was a few months before they were readily avaialble - if you need a system in a short time frame, you may want to consdier that before waiting for one of the new models. The release may be imminent, but the production likely is a month or more off.
