Dell Inspiron 1720

:emotion-39:      I have a Inspiron 1720 and have had trouble with it almost since I bought it new 17 months ago. I had the hard drive replaced shortly after I purchased it. When I type the cursor goes where it wants. If I'm filling out a form or a page the whole thing vanishes never to be seen again. The laptop shuts itself off often while I'm using it.

Is anyone else experiencing this type of behavior with their 1720.

I bought this laptop because I am dissabled and this is my communication to freedom. Needless to say I am very, very dissapointed with Dell and their product right now.

Any recalls on this product.
