Dell Inspiron 5537 Ram Upgrade Problem - Can't Recognize Single 8 GB RAM Stick

Hello All,

I have Dell inspiron 5537 with 1 TB HDD , 8 GB RAMs, Windows 8.1 and BIOS Updated to A06 Version,

The problem is i want to upgrade the RAM to be 12 GB , I tried replacing one of the 4 GB modules but it was not recognizable. Also i tried to install it alone , the laptop wouldn't boot as well, and beeping sound started with black screen.

I tried 8 GB Kingstone DDR3 RAM and Hynix.

It's better to buy RAM guaranteed to work - there are all sorts of possibilities.
