Dell Inspiron 5720
Hi guys,
I'm looking at the bosses daughters laptop. He bought it in for me to look at last week. I did a full system restore, which worked fine, albeit very slow. I then took it home for the weekend to upgrade to Windows 10 and add parental controls. I tried to power on over the weekend and it's just stuck on the Dell logo. If I hit F12/F2/Del it shows a progress bar but then does nothing. I've tried holding D when I power on, all's fine with the display test, but again it just sticks at the Dell screen.
I've replaced the RAM and the HDD, still the same issue.
Anything else I can try?

Thanks for your reply.
I cannot install the OS as the machine will not boot past the Dell logo, even after installing the new hardware.
I will message service tag now.
Edit: I cannot see where to message you, how do I do that?

Hi,
Thank you for writing to us!
After replacing the Hard drive and Ram install the Operating system ( Clean installation) Once that is done ensure all the drivers are updated and all updates run on the system.
Note : make sure the system is connected to the internet .
