Dell Inspiron B-130
I have a inspiron B130 laptop and I think it has a 6 cell battery in it.. I have seen 10 & 12 cell batteries on ebay for this computer.. has anyone tryed one of these internet for sale batteries?
Also does anyone know if there is a vol. control on the laptop ? I looked but don't see nay thing that says vol. on it...

Hey, BE VERY CAREFUL when you buy batteries from ebay or anywhere outside of Dell (or any computer manufacture)... they could be reconditioned batteries, recycled batteries, or batteries that are new but have not been fully tested or safety checked. You do not want a battery to melt or explode on you even if the price is good...
as for volume i'm not familiar with the B130, but check to see if there is a control that looks like a ramp that goes up.. it could be a rocker switch or a dial type switch, on the side of the laptop, or it could even be a Function Key.. I will look it up and get back to you..

If you mean a physical control like a knob, there is not one. The little audio icon that looks like a speaker can be a volume control. Also if you have Dell Quickset installed then Fn = Page Up & Down is a volume control. Additionally each audio player program will have a volume control.

thanks I will not be buying one off ebay... ok do you know If I have a 2nd dell battery can I charge it on the laptop, and remove it and put the 1 st back on and have 2 fully charged batterys? I am not sure how long this will last and would like to watch a full movie on a plane without it dieing on me..
