Dell Inspiron M5040 webcam disappeared
Hi there
I need help. I had to get my hard drive fixed and when I got my laptop back, I noticed that my webcam has disappeared. I would like to know how I can retrieve it. Please do help

Hi,
If they had to replace your hard drive they may not have installed the Dell Webcam Central software. Here is a link to a troubleshooting document for the Dell Webcam Central software and it will explain how to download and install the software. (Since I'm not sure what operating system you're using I can't link directly to the download but here is a link to the support pages for the Inspiron M5040.)
I hope this helps. If not, please let us know a bit more about your system, what operating system you're running, and what they had to do to repair your hard drive. (Did they replace it? Did they install Windows on it, etc)
