Hi jnjani,
2 beeps means no RAM has been detected by the system. I would suggest you to re-seat the memory modules of the computer.
I would also recommend you to remove all the memory modules from the computer. Then put one module at a time and check if there is any change. Ensure that you check in all the available slots with just one RAM. You may refer to the service manual http://bit.ly/1bH90l4
Please ensure to follow the safety instructions mentioned in the manual.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply, however, I have already tried with other RAM module and checked my dell RAM with other laptop. It seems that there is no problem with RAM. (There is only one RAM slot.) I am very much interested to know that why there is no disply.
Thanks.

Hi jnjani,
If you have re-seated the RAM and still the issue persists, then most likely it is a faulty motherboard and may have to be replaced.
