Dell Inspiron n5050

I was trying to speed up my grandson's laptop by using AVG antivirus and malwarebytes software. It never could finish with malwarebytes. so I tried to restore the laptop but now it cannot load windows. It says it is loading for first time use but never finishes. I ran the system check and got the error code 2000-0142 and read on the forum to unplug the power cord remove the battery and hold down the start button for 15 seconds but that didn't change anything. Is there a disk you can order from dell to recover and reload the software
