Dell Laitiude D620 Hardware Problem
Hello, my name is ashton, please help me i just wanted to know that on july 1st 2017, my laptop got an popup virus, so i reinstalled windows xp on my laptop, but after i reinstalled xp on my laptop
The Laptop screen resolution was 1024x768, instead of 1280x800
VGA Controller needs to be reinstalled
Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus needs to be reinstalled
Ethernet Controller needs to be reinstalled
Modem Device on High Definition Audio Bus needs to be reinstalled
Network Controller needs to be reinstalled
and The Wifi Hardware Stopped Working Permanently

when i reinstall the vga controller, i got the bsod
the bsod error message says:
*** Hardware Malfuction
Call your hardware vendor for support
NMI: Parity Check / Memory Parity Error
*** The system has halted ***

When i reinstall the drivers, most of them say "This device cannot start."

The reason why i reinstalled windows xp on july 1st 2017, because on the same day on july 1st 2017, before i reinstalled windows xp on my laptop, popup viruses on internet explorer, The internet explorer version was 8(The last version for windows xp)

Windows XP hasn't seen any security updates in over three years - it's time to retire that OS.
This system should be able to run Windows 7 - though whether it's worth buying a new license for it is open to question. It's likely time to retire the system and upgrade to a new(er) one.
Even if you invest the time installing XP, you absolutely SHOULD NOT be using that OS online - it's completely insecure at this point.
